What are Milestones?

What Are Milestones:

Milestones act as a study/project timeline for service providers to begin determining and prioritizing the services requested.

Why Are Milestones Important:

Milestones are important because they provide the service providers an idea of when they need to complete your service requests.

These Milestones are also required fields that need to be filled out for a user to continue to Step 3: Service Details of their SPARC submission.

Additional Information:

Depending on the type of funding for a request, the number of fields will change:

• Funding Type - College Department, Federal, Investigator-Initiated/Industry-Sponsored, Internal Funded Pilot Project, Student Funded Research:

  • Only have Start/End Dates and Estimated Recruitment Start/End Dates

• Funding Type - Industry-Initiated/Industry-Sponsored (See Screenshots Above):

  • Has Start/End Dates, Estimated Recruitment Start/End Dates, Initial Budget Sponsor Received Date, Initial Amount Per Patient, Initial Site Level Amount Offered, Budget Agreed Upon Date, Negotiated Amount Per Patient, Negotiated Site Level Amount
