Roadmap Review (ProductPlan)

  • SPARCRequest Version 3.10.0 & SPARCFulfillment Version 3.4.0

    • Currently working on stories for next release

    • Feedback?

Discussion topics

  • Introduce Brigette White from MUSC

    • She will take over a lot of work that Wenjun was doing

  • Brian Demographics Demo

    • Ying was able to make it so that Demographics is configurable

  • Review process Discussion

    • Stony Brooks: opportunity for teams to apply for rewards so they can submit a proposal for a project. We have a process/committee that review the proposal (feasibility committee, diversity & inclusion committee, etc).

      • Would be great if research teams could submit this proposal in SPARC and the committees could update where in the review process they are.

      • Not sure if SPARC is appropriate for this system or do we need to have them use a different system, then comeback to SPARC for completion

    • MUSC initiates funding opportunities in SPARC

      • Once they have a SPARC ID, they then use InfoReady to apply for those funding opportunities

        • We do the review in InfoReady because there is functionality available for that

          • We are planning to switch over to REDCap in the future

      • We do use some reviewing functionality in our research nexus

        • We might expand that functionality

    • LA CaTS developed the SPARCFunding Module to:

      • Used more for gathering the funding applications and from an administrative view, for determining that their biostats consultation occurred

      • From a review process

        • very similar to Stony Brooks

          • we pull the applications and a coordinator manages the review process

          • spreadsheet driven process

        •
