SPARCRequest Version 3.6.1 Fixes

(*3.6.1 is a Patch Release on top of SPARCRequest v3.6.0)

1. (SPARCRequest Step 1) Service Deep Link Folding Display Bug

When using the direct service link (located in SPARCCatalog), the link was defaulting to fold the service information. This bug has since been fixed.

2. SPARCRequest Step 2 and SPARCDashboard) Protocol Information Page Tooltip and Language Improvement

Based on users' feedbacks, we have updated the tooltip and language on SPARCRequest Step 2 and SPARCDashboard Protocol Information page for the following items:

1). The tooltip for "Proposal Funding Status" has been amended in the Financial Information Section to say "Choose “Pending Funding” if you are applying for grant service."

2). The label for the Epic questions in the General Information Section has been changed to "Do you want to have your Study Published in Epic?"

3. (SPARCRequest Step 4 & SPARCDashboard) Documents Table Service Provider with Access Column Height Bug

A previous bug occurred when there are multiple service providers who have been granted access to a document, all of them are displayed in the column causing lengthy display. After the fix, when there are more than 3 service provider groups who have been granted access to a document, only the count of service providers is displayed, with detail listed in the hover-over window.

4. (SPARCDashboard Admin Edit) Unable to Deselect Owner Bug Fix

In SPARCDashboard Admin Edit section, a previous bug existed where the owner was not able to be removed and displayed as blank when deselecting. This bug has since been fixed and the owner can be successfully removed.

 5. (SPARCDashboard Admin Edit) Table Initializer Bug Fix

In SPARCDashboard Admin Edit section, a previous bug occurred where tables were not loading their normal content. This bug has since been fixed.

6. (SPARCDashboard Admin Edit) Service Revision Buttons shouldn't be Disabled by Calendar Lock Bug Fix

A previous bug occurred in SPARCDashboard Admin Edit Clinical Services tab where the

"Add Clinical Services," "Delete Clinical Services," and "Add Arm"

buttons were hidden once "Lock Calendar" was selected. This bug has since been fixed and these three buttons now appear for service providers, where they are then able to add/delete services even when "Lock calendar is selected." Previous bug screenshot below.

7. (SPARCDashboard Admin Edit) Visit View Refresh Bug

A previous bug occurred in SPARCDashboard Admin Edit section where a calendar was

refreshing to the view of a different visit window when a service was added/deleted. This bug has since been fixed to maintain the visit in which a user is adding/deleting a visit on (i.e. 16-20 does not

refresh to view visit 1-5 if adding/deleting a service).

8. (SPARCDashboard) RMID Verification Label Related Bugs

A previous bug occurred in SPARCDashboard where the RMID verification visual cues are not showing up on the homepage on applicable protocols's name ("updated to corresponding Research Master ID Short Title"). When viewing protocol information on a protocols with RMID verification visual cue, there is a syntax error. This bug has since been fixed.

(SPARCDashboard) View/Export Request Button Showing All Bug

A previous bug occurred in SPARCDashboard where when clicking on the View button for a given request in SPARCDashboard, all services are being displayed (i.e. consolidated view). This bug has since been fixed

(SPARCRequest Step 1) Warning Message Showing up for Never Submitted Requests Bug

A previous bug occurred in SPARCRequest Step 1 where the warning popup window would show up more than one time for each non-draft Sub Service Request. Once user has confirmed deleting a service from that SSR, do not confirm again when removing other services from that SSR. This bug has since been fixed

(SPARCDashboard Admin Edit) Adding Duplicative Line Item Silent Error Bug

A previous bug occurred in SPARCDashboard Admin Edit where a user picks a request with clinical services, and goes to "Admin Edit". Then choose a service that's already on the request to Add → Submit. This caused it error out silently after clicking submit. The bug has since been fixed to present an error message to users that "The selected service is already on the request and cannot be added again."

(SPARCRequest) Production Error: app/views/layouts/_news.html

A previous bug occurred in SPARCRequest where the users were receiving exception notifier errors about the news.html.haml. This bug has since been fixed

(SPARCRequest) Service 8330 and 8317 Causing 404 Error 

A previous bug occurred in SPARCRequest when a user added service 8330 or 8317 (BDNF Assay) is causing 404 error. This bug has since been fixed and the 404 error does not occur.

(SPARCRequest Step 3 and SPARCDashboard Admin Edit) Service Calendar Layout Adjustment Bug

A previous bug occurred in SPARCRequest and SPARCDashboard where the "Service" name column width was too short to show more of the service name and CPT codes. This bug has since been fixed to show more of the service name and CPT codes.

(SPARCRequest Step 3 and SPARCDashboard Admin Edit) Check All processing Speed Needs Improvement Feature

A previous bug occurred since bootstrap 4's release, when using Check-All buttons on service calendar on SPARCRequest Step 3 or SPARCDashboard Admin Edit seems slower, even though a user only had 5-8 visits and less than 12 services on the testing calendar. 

(SPARCDashboard) Request Details Dates Display Bug

A previous bug occurred in SPARCDashboard where the timestamp is showing when first entering the date, but after refreshing the page, <span></span> syntax is showing up. This bug has since been fixed to not show <span></span> when the user refreshes.

(SPARCDashboard) Epic Queue Page Refreshing Bug

A previous bug occurred in SPARCDashboard where the page index on the bottom is gone, and there is nothing displayed or actionable for user. This bug has been fixed where the page index on the bottom shows the other pages, as well as the previous index' contents.

(SPARCDashboard) Admin Edit Modified Rate & Status Bug

A previous bug occurred in SPARCDashboard where when modifying an Admin Rate in Admin Edit for Non-clinical services from the original rate, the status is being changed back to draft. This occurs in both new and existing Project/Studies. The bug has been fixed where the status does not change back to draft after altering the Admin Rate.

(SPARCRequest Step2 & SPARCDashboard) Federal Grant Information View Misalignment Bug

A previous bug occurred in SPARCRequest and SPARCDashboard where the contents are squeezed to the right side, instead of the column next to the field names when you click "View" protocol information for Federal Grant information. This bug has been fixed where the federal grant information is more easily viewable.

(SPARCRequest Step 2 and SPARCDashboard) Duplicative RMID Validation Silent Error

A previous bug occurred in SPARCRequest and SPARCDashboard where a silent error occurs in the console without frontend warning message. There was also no developer group email error either. This bug has been fixed where the error/warning message should show up about RMID taken by another study xxxx already.

(SPARCRequest & SPARCDashboard) Invalid RMID Popup Window Missing Bug

A previous bug occurred in SPARCRequest and SPARCDashboard where no popup window showed up, and the interfaced fields are disabled and shown as if they were pulling through that API. This bug has been fixed where a popup window should show up displaying "This Research Master ID doesn't exist." and stop the user from going forward.

(SPARCReport) Unique PI Time Format Bug

A previous bug occurred in SPARCReport where the Unique PI Report is displaying a 505 error related to the date field upon selecting. This bug has been fixed

(SPARCRequest Step 2 & SPARCDashboard) General User Access Error Message with RMID and Epic Question Bug

A previous bug occurred in SPARCRequest and SPARCDashboard where an error message displays "Authorization Error: the service request you are trying to access is not editable." This bug has been fixed where the RMID and associated information should load or Epic questions should move on.

(SPARCRequest & SPARCDashboard) Protocol Information Form NCT# Validation Silent Failure Bug

A previous bug occurred in SPARCRequest and SPARCDashboard where the green checkmark on that field shows, no matter what is entered, but won't Save the page. There is no indication for the user to know what's wrong. This bug has been fixed where a red highlighted error indication shows up around the field indicating the field has not been filled or incorrectly filled.

(SPARCRequest & SPARCDashboard) Unable to create/save a new study Bug

A previous bug occurred when a new study is added in SPARC (from either location). Study form opens, enter minimal required fields and click Save. It should exit the form and show "Study created" message or error message. Instead no error messages on screen nor in the log. This bug has since been fixed

(SPARCDashboard) Cancel 'Edit Protocol' button should go back to the Protocol page in Dashboard Bug

A previous bug occurred in SPARCDashboard where the User is redirected to the home page when the user clicks the "Cancel" link in Edit Study Information. The bug has been fixed where the user is redirected back to the Protocol page in Dashboard.

(SPARCRequest & SPARCDashboard) Super Users/Service Provider Can't Upload Document Bug

A previous bug occurred when a Super User or Service Provider, but not an Authorized User, is unable to click the "Add Document" button. It causes a 500 error. This bug has since been fixed

(SPARCRequest & SPARCDashboard) 3 Milestone $ Fields Missing Bug

A previous bug occurred in SPARCRequest and SPARCDashboard where studies with Industry Initiated/Industry Sponsored Funding source, had 3 out of the 4 $ fields missing in the Milestone section. This bug has been fix to have all four fields appear in the Milestone section.

(SPARCRequest & SPARCDashboard) Missing PI on studies/project Bug

A bug occurred in SPARCRequest and SPARCDashboard where if you did not enter the Primary PI name in correctly or at all, the study/project would still save and move on to the next step. This bug has been fixed where a red highlighted error indication shows up around the field indicating the field has not been filled in correctly.

(SPARCRequest/SPARCDashboard) extra RMID fields in View Study When Configuration Turned Off Bug

A bug occurred in SPARCRequest and SPARCDashboard where after disabling RMID and Epic question/answer, they still appear in the protocol. This bug has been fixed where the RMID and Epic question/answer do not appear after being disabled.

(SPARCRequest) Use Shibboleth Only Setting Is Not Working Bug

A bug occurred in SPARCRequest where the "MUSC User or "Outside User" webpage is still showing up with database accounts open after triggering the login for SPARCRequest Page. This bug has been fixed where the database account user routing is turned off, and the "MUSC User" and "Outside User" web page do not show up. Instead showing ADFS/Shibboleth page.

(SPARCDashboard) IE Document Upload Bug

A previous bug occurred when a user would try to upload a document and a silent failure occurred presenting the user with "The service request you are trying to access is not editable." this bug has since been fixed

SPARCFulfillment Version 3.0.1 New Features

1. (SPARCFulfillment) Participant Report Broken Bug

A previous bug occurred when trying to create a Participant report and errored erred out. This bug has since been fixed and the participant report should be generated.
