Research Master ID New Features and Bug Fixes (v1.9.0)
This document outlines the features and fixes for Research Master ID (RMID).
RMID administrators can now export search results and view SPARC study statuses.
The system will record and display current SPARC/eIRB association dates.
Only one eIRB study will link to an RMID when multiple associations exist, prioritizing reviewed applications.
RMID-eIRB associations are now linked for eIRB External IRB Review Archive studies.
The continuous integration system has switched to GitHub for automated testing support.
Administrative Space Enhancement
RMID Administrators will now be able to export search results and view the associated SPARC study’s active/archive status.
Display current SPARC/eIRB Association Dates
Previously when RMIDs were linked from one SPARC/eIRB study to another, only the original association date was recorded. This release ensures the current associated date is also recorded and displayed in the RMID Admin Space.
Link one eIRB study to one RMID when multiple eIRB links exist
To accommodate eIRB applications that enter the same RMID number when drafting eIRB submissions, this release updates the RMID site so that only one of those associations link the RMID and eIRB study. Priority is given to the eIRB application that has been IRB reviewed, or to the first associated eIRB study when all eIRB applications are in pre-IRB review states.
Add eIRB linkage for studies in External IRB Review Archived states
To provide a full data set, the current release updates the platform to record RMID-eIRB associations for studies in the obsolete eIRB External IRB Review Archive state. This linkage will also appear in SPARC when the same RMID has an association to a SPARC study. Because these study’s data are not updated in eIRB, the study titles and PIs will not be updated in RMID and will remain editable to those with these rights (PI, RMID creator).
Switch Continuous Integration System to Github
To accommodate Travis sunsetting, the development continuous integration (CI) system that enables automated testing for pull requests now uses GitHub.
