• Univ of FL will be implementing SPARCRequest and may begin attending future calls.

• Last meeting discussion to add editing of Prof Orgs in SPARCAdmin pending MUSC internal review.

  • Ying also proposed for UI iteration -

    • Using a structured organization tree (institution → school/college → sub-units).

    • Allow editing of labels via a simple UI partial.

  • MUSC will consider as part of governance-aligned design.

• Release process - reminder of the Confluence wiki resources that has release process information/instruction/documentation, business process models and JIRA guides. Access requires login; institutions should reach out if this creates issues. Institutions are encouraged to review JIRA boards for stories and request prioritization where needed.

• Releases update and planning -

  • SPARC v3.14.0 released 12/19/2025. Github v3.14.0 released 1/16/2026.

  • RMID release - March 2026

  • Fulfillment Rails (8.1.2)/Ruby (3.3.1) v3.7.0 upgrade - March 2026. Planned stories.

  • Fulfillment v3.8.0 release - Summer 2026. Planned stories. Planning a new timekeeping feature as an alternative to the current KLOK XML upload. Work is in early design phases; implementation will occur in stages.

  • SPARC v3.15.0 release - Fall 2026. Planned stories.

  • SPARC v3.16.0 Rails/Ruby maintenance - Winter 2026. Plan for a yearly Rails/Ruby maintenance cycle to keep versions current.
