Check out the Clinical and Translational Research Ethics Consultation Service (CTRECS)!

Calling all MUSC Researchers. Check out the CTREC Consultation in SPARCRequest!

“The Clinical and Translational Research Ethics Consultation Service (CTRECS) has an advisory role aiming to help research teams, regulators, and administrators address challenging questions in the planning of a research study, its methodology, and interpretation or dissemination of the results of the research. This service complements the IRB by advocating for ethical deliberation throughout the various phases of research. Unlike the IRB, the CTRECS is available before and after regulatory review and can assist the IRB in addressing problematic situations, in which, for example, the informed consent requirements or the risk/benefit analysis is unclear.”
