Upcoming Releases
SPARC v3.13.0 - Ruby 3.3.1 & Ruby Rails 7.0.8.1 upgrades - tested Rails 7 changes. Next step is to merge Ruby 3 for addl testing; working on server upgrade to accompany these upgrades
RMID 1.7.0 Release (tentative Sept 2024)
SPARC 3.14.0 Release will follow the Ruby/Rails upgrade and RMID (tentative Dec 2024)
Discussion
(SPARCRequest/Dashboard) - Add Primary IRB Designation, discussed:
Design to add a ‘primary IRB flag’ column within the irb_records table
UI study checkbox with IRB questions to indicate primary IRB.
Box appears for primary & additional IRBs
Box is editable for the additional IRBs to be changed as the primary
Box is read only on the primary IRB since it's already indicated as such
When an IRB is designated as the primary, its data appears on the study application question (e.g., within the application, not the 'additional IRB' section)
If an IRB changes from an additional to primary, its data moves from the addl IRB section to the primary IRB section
If an IRB changes from a primary to an additional IRB, it moves to the additional IRB section as the first listed IRB (e.g., the other IRBs shift down).
Is a similar design to how replacing Primary PI on a study/project works.
For API that brings in IRB data:
primary IRB is designated by the API
primary IRB field is read only on primary & addl IRBs so that the user can't indicate a different primary IRB
